• Break up multiple lines so they read appropriately
• Place headlines above articles
• Underlining headlines NOT RECOMMENDED
• Be STRICTLY CONSISTENT when you position your headlines
• REPEAT font Formatting. All bold is usually best choice
• REPEAT a font that’s in your MASTHEAD
• CENTER ALIGNMENT: always use alignment paragraph formatting options in control palette.
• Limit your layout to only one serif font
